Leave the cooking to the professionals in order to celebrate Memorial Day to the fullest here in Charleston. These 8 places have you covered for takeout options for dinner, drinks, and dessert. Some of them have an order dealine coming up, so act fast!

1. Lewis Barbecue

Lewis Barbecue has a few Memorial Day packages available that ship nationwide. Their “Suns Out, Buns Out” package is $230, serves 6-8 people, and includes their USDA Prime Beef Brisket, Pulled Pork, and BBQ sauce. If you want this item shipped, the order deadline is before 11pm on Tuesday, May 25th. For the local Charleston folks, you can order a “Family Meal” for either four ($55) or six ($65) people and pick it up same day! The family meal includes 2 lb of meat for four people and 3 lb of meat for six people. The meals also come with a choice of two sides, up to five "fixins" (pickles, pickled red onion), and up to 6 sauces.

2. Cookie Dough Love CHS

Cookie Dough Love is an edible cookie dough company here in CHS. They are offering a “Summer 6 pack” of their edible cookie dough for only $20! They are offering free local delivery on Thursday, May 27th if you order by Tuesday, May 25th. If you miss the ordering deadline, you can find their cookie dough for sale at Mercantile and Mash!

3. Table & Twine by Duvall Catering & Events

Table & Twine’s Memorial Day Grilling Package has all the fixings for a big day of eating! Their grilling package serves 6 people and includes 6 Bratwursts with buns, 6 Certified Angus Beef Burgers with buns, gourmet toppings, Herb Roasted Fingerling Potato Salad, Grilled Summer Harvest Vegetable Salad, House Made Baked Beans, and a Mixed Summer Berry Shortcake Grilling Kit. That’s a lot of food for $135! If you need more food for your crowd, they are also offering pulled pork and marinated chicken breasts. They also offer cocktail mixes that serve 6-8 people. Their raspberry peach sparkler and ginger mint limeade mule are sure to keep the party going! The order deadlines are Tuesday, May 25th at 1pm for pickup or delivery on Thursday, May 27th and Thursday, May 27th at 1pm for pickup or delivery on Saturday, May 29th.

4. East Bay Wine and Spirits

Stop by East Bay Wine and Spirits to pick up your poolside or beach beverages. We all know ready-made cocktails in a can are the drink of summer 2021 and luckily they have plenty to choose from. To name a few, they have Volley and Mamitas tequila seltzers, Post Meridium cocktails, and High Noon canned vodka sodas. Pictured above is the French Pool Tote that includes 10 glasses of rose, which you can serve stylishly from the pourable spout. It’s definitely the cutest wine pouch I've ever seen!

5. Hamby Catering

Hamby Catering has you covered whether you want to break out the grill or leave it turned off and just party! For $45, their Burger Package serves 4 people and includes 4 black angus beef patties, homemade icebox pickles, mild cheddar cheese, Hamby burger seasoning, Vertical Roots Lettuce, roma tomatoes, red onion, and a condiment trio. Their “Let Freedom Ring” BBQ package is $33 and includes 2 lb of slow roasted Carolina pulled pork with vinegar sauce and artisan slider rolls. They also have options for sides like mac and cheese and two dozen mini assorted sweets for dessert. 

6. Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit

Callie’s Memorial 3-Day Weekend Kit includes sweet and savory options for ideal Memorial Day snacking. For $58, the package includes a half-dozen Cinnamon Biscuits, a half-dozen Buttermilk Biscuits, Cocoa & Cream Cookies, Cheese Crisps, and Traditional Pimento Cheese. This kit can be enjoyed at breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack time and pairs perfectly with coffee. Callie’s wants you to “spend less time thinking about Memorial Day food and more time enjoying the sunshine!”

7. Firefly Distillery 

Pick up your Memorial Day weekend booze at Firefly Distillery, or spend Memorial Day on site so they can mix the drinks for you. Get a taste of their 25+ spirits with a distillery tasting from 12-6pm. Haley Mae Campbell is performing live on the front porch from 1-4pm and Smoking Gringos will be serving up eats starting at 12pm through 4pm. The event is free to attend and they have corn hole, picnic tables, and plenty of room in our 4-acre field for you to bring blanks and chairs to kick back and enjoy the day!

8. Florence's Lowcountry Kitchen

Florence’s Lowcountry Kitchen had two different “Family Meal” options available for takeout this Memorial Day weekend as well as pint and quart sizes of their signature sides. Family Meal option 1 serves 4-6 people and includes a 9 piece chicken, 3 pints of sides, hot sauce, and pimento cheese and ritz for $69. Family Meal option 2, which serves 6-8 people, includes an 18 piece chicken, 3 quarts of sides, hot sauce, pimento cheese and ritz, and 4, 5-inch pecan pies all for $139. You can also add pulled pork to any package for $15/lb. Their order deadline is Thursday, May 27th and you can order via phone or email.
